About High Desert Conchos

Meet Ross Owner and Creator of HDC

Ross founded High Desert Conchos in 2020 after seeing a need for quality western hardware through his wife’s horse tack business, Country Chic Leathers. What started as sourcing conchos for handcrafted tack quickly grew into a passion for creating unique designs that makers couldn’t find anywhere else.

Today, High Desert Conchos proudly offers exclusive, custom designed conchos and western hardware inspired by the western lifestyle and built for leather craftsmen, tack makers, and artisans.

Born and raised in Oregon, Ross now lives in Ridgefield, Washington with his wife and family. When he isn’t designing new products or helping customers bring their projects to life, you’ll find him watching basketball, taking road trips, or spending time with his family. At High Desert Conchos, the goal is simple: create distinctive, high quality western hardware that helps makers build something they’re proud of.
